Terms and Conditions

1. Exclusions (unless otherwise specified)

1.1 The supply of 240V power outlets, shelving, telephone lines, scissor lifts, or other elevated work platforms (EWPs) is not included. Where required, these costs will be passed directly to the customer.

1.2 Trenching or excavation for underground cabling, unless specifically included in the quotation.

1.3 Any third-party fees, including internet services, offsite monitoring, data usage, or other external charges.

1.4 We make no guarantee that a customer’s modem, internet connection, or any product/service not supplied by us will be compatible with remote or mobile access for CCTV, alarm, or intercom systems.

2. Inclusions

2.1 Connection of installed equipment to an existing modem, either via cabling or Wi-Fi extenders.

3. Pricing, Payment, and Deposits

3.1 A deposit equal to 50% of the quoted amount is payable by the customer before commencement of works.

3.2 Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds, where offered, will be at our sole discretion.

3.3 Ownership of all installed equipment remains with us until full payment has been received.

3.4 Overdue invoices will attract late fees as follows:

  • 10% surcharge after 7 days past the due date

  • An additional 10% surcharge applied for each subsequent month

3.5 We reserve the right to waive late fees at our discretion.

4. Liability

4.1 We accept no liability for incidental or consequential losses (including lost revenue or profits) arising from the supply of products or performance of services.

5. Stock and Delivery Timeframes

5.1 While we make every effort to deliver products and services promptly, no guarantee can be made regarding timeframe.

5.2 Scheduled works or product delivery will not be guaranteed without prior receipt of the deposit.

6. Warranties

6.1 All installed equipment is warranted against defects for the manufacturer’s specified period, commencing on the date of installation. Where not otherwise stated:

  • HikVision: 3 years

  • HiLook: 3 years

  • Bosch: 3 years

  • AiPhone: 3 years

  • HDDs, monitors, and peripherals: 1 year

  • Cabling, brackets, and fixings: 1 year

6.2 Warranty coverage is subject to:

  • Notification of defects in writing within the warranty period; and

  • Equipment not having been damaged through misuse, attempted repair, inadequate maintenance, animal interference, or acts of God.

6.3 Our responsibility is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. Labour and travel costs associated with collection, re-installation, or service are not covered.

6.4 We reserve the right to waive labour or travel charges on warranty claims at our discretion.

6.5 Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the customer named on the original invoice.

6.6 Repair or replacement of a product does not extend the original warranty period.

7. Severability

7.1 These Terms are to be interpreted to remain valid wherever possible.

7.2 If any clause is found to be void or unenforceable, that clause will be severed and the remainder of the Terms will continue to apply.

8. Applicable Law

8.1 These Terms and all agreements with us are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland.
